17th Ave / Uptown

17th Ave SW aka Uptown is Calgary's version of a Main Street meets Robson Street in Vancouver. We went to my friend's favorite bar Melrose Cafe and Bar for lunch there. I had a Champeach and a Melrose Bellini to drink and Patchos (cajun fries topped with blended cheese, green onions, black olives, diced tomatoes & jalapenos, served with spicy pepper aioli) to eat. After lunch we walked down 17th going into some vintage stores like Feisty. We tried to go see a psychic but that failed again clearly it was not meant to be. After roaming around 17th we went back to my friend's place hung out for a bit before hopping on Calgary transit to the Greyhound station.
