Ever since I watched HBO's Rome I have been following Polly Walker's career. She played Atia the niece of Ceaser and mother to Octavian. She's a great untapped British actress. She starred in the highly acclaimed miniseries State of Play and was recently in BBC's Prisoner's Wives. So I was happy to here an American show brought her on for a stint on The Mentalist. The Mentalist is about an infamous 'psychic' abandons his public persona, outing himself as a fake, to focus on his work as a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation in order to find "Red John," the madman who killed his wife and daughter. *Spoilers* Here is the synopsis of the season premiere while Jane tries to decipher Lorelei’s connection to Red John, the CBI team is forced to partner with the FBI to solve the murder of a hotel employee, airs on Sunday, Sept. 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS. Emmanuelle Chriqui (“Entourage”) returns as Lorelei Martins, Polly Walker (“Rome”) guest stars as Senior FBI Agent Alexa Schultz and Ivan Sergei guest stars as FBI Agent Gabe Mancini.
