Letter in the mail...

So I finally got my letter from the BC Arts Council in the mail regarding a grant I had applied for in May. Turns out the BC Government only had 82 applications and only 20 people were able to get funding. I unfortunately wasn't one of them. Suffice to say it was my first application and I now know how much work it takes to write one of their grants. I thought there would be more applicants than there was, so looking at the positive I am going to keep writing grants until I get one. I just wish I knew what exactly they were looking for or what I did wrong. If anyone out there knows of a good course on the matter please let me know.
